TOCA TRAINING FAQ's
- 01You can train effectively on a TOCA touch trainer in as little as a 20'x10' space. The more space you add to that, the more excersize options you have. The sweet spot for one person training is 20'x30', and 30'x40' for multiple people training.
- 02While one of the benefits of renting a TOCA is the ability to train on your own for a super-intense touch session, there are several multi-player excersizes that will accomodate several players at once, with some having players rotate through a course and others where players serve as an additional pass within an excersize, or in playing defense. This makes TOCA a great addition to team practice nights, where groups of boys, whether from one team or several teams in a practice evening, can rotate through a TOCA session.
- 03You could say the TOCA Training App is where all the magic happens. By controlling the Touch Trainer via Bluetooth, you can adjust speed, trajectory, an angle of delivery, and frequency. With this app, you can keep track of your stats every time you train. It’s available on the App Store and Google Play.
- 04You can train on any dry surface, indoors or outside, whether its your yard, a driveway, a basketball, tennis or raquetball court, a grass field or even your garage if you've got the room! When its raining, if you're short on indoor space there are several places in and around Charlotte that allow you to rent indoor space by the hour, some even with turf floors.

TOCA RENTAL FAQ's
- 01You need to book at least 24 hours in advance. Time slots tend to book up so try to make your reservations several days in advance. If you like taking a regular time slot on the same day each week, book for the month.
- 02Currently our delivery area runs as far South as RT 485, as far East as Independence Blvd., as far north as Uptown inside the 277 loop, and as far West as Rt 77. We are planning future expansions into Huntersville, Concord and Ft. Mill. In the meantime, if you live outside our delivery area and are willing to meet us to pick up and drop off at a designated location within our area, that can be arranged.
- 03It is possible to arrange to pick-up and drop-off the TOCA instead of having it delivered to you for a fee. These arrangements must be made at least 48 hours beforehand and typically involve arranging a pick-up/drop point in the South Charlotte area as we currently do not have a brick and mortar retail location.
- 04The cost to rent ranges from $15-$20 per hour for single sessions depending on the time of day you're renting, and is $30 per hour for team or group sessions. That does not include delivery fees which average $25 and cover drop off and pick-up to/from your location. Then of course there is a 7.25% sales tax.
- 05Cancellations must be made 24-hours in advance and must be rescheduled to another time/day.
TOCA FEATURES FAQ's
TOCA FEATURES & BENEFITS
- 01https://static.wixstatic.com/media/undefined TOCA uses a size-2 ball vs. the standard size-5 used by teens and adults and size-4 used by youth leagues, typically U-11 and younger. Handling and controling a smaller ball requires increased focus and concentration and less body impact to control. The "Small Ball Philosophy" is rooted in the idea that "Smaller Is Harder". Size-2 balls have a much smaller sweet spot than larger balls, and they tend to bounce off your foot much faster, requiring increased finesse to control. After training with a small ball you'll find it much easier to handle and control a larger ball in practice or game situations, particularly on your first-touch.
- 02The only way to master a skill is to practice it, the same way consistantly, over and over again. The touch trainer consistently delivers balls to specific locations at precise speeds and trajectories allowing for an accelerated training experience. It provides players at every level a chance to practice their first touch repetitively, improving their technique and elevating their game.
